“We have to be up standers, not bystanders.”

We recently filmed at the stoke YMCA for a talks from people who have suffered great trauma. These ranged from survivors of shootings, families of those lost to terrorism, Auschwitz survivors, victims of racial crime, and more. It was a powerful event yet nice to see the main focus was not on anger or sadness, but love and healing. Each speaker hosted a charity dedicated to other sufferers of there respective ill.

“We have lots of similarities, but also lots of interesting differences.”

If you too have a message to share we can help. The Harms of Hate event was for more than the room, it was posted to Stoke-on-trent City Council Facebook page and seen over one hundred times.

“We believe in out motto ‘stronger together'”
